On 28-29 June 2018, the 7th European Insolvency & Restructuring Congress will take place in Brussels, organized by Deutscher Anwaltverein, INSOL and an independent authority centre for restructuring, reorganizations and turnarounds ReTurn.
The main part of the debate will focus on the European Insolvency Law update - the proposed Directive on Preventive Restructuring Frameworks. The workshops will cover topics such as, among others, challenges of digitization and legal tech in restructuring and insolvency, restructuring of bonds under Austrian and German Law, or the issues of court and out-of-court pursuit of rights by secured creditors.
The congress will be attended by Katarzyna Domańska-Mołdawa
, partner at BSJP, a specialist in the area of bankruptcy and restructuring law as well as banking and finance. She is co-author of "Material loan collaterals in insolvency in Central and Eastern Europe" [original title: "Dingliche Kreditsicherheiten in der Insolvenz in Mittel- und Osteuropa"]. Together with Dr. Romana Cierpial-Magnor (FOWI), she wrote the chapter on Poland, entitled "Loan collaterals in insolvency in Poland. Legal standing of the secured creditors".
