Katarzyna Reszczyk-Król, attorney-at-law and Senior Associate at BSJP law firm participated in the 4th Conference of the Graduates of Schools of German Law which took place on 4 and 5 November 2016. The key topic of this year's edition was personal data protection, in particular how will the General Data Protection Regulation, which is to enter into force in May 2018, influence the national legislation and practice. The conference was attended by German and Polish practitioners.
At the conference Katarzyna delivered a lecture in German entitled "The legal framework for the processing of personal data without the consent of the party concerned: Polish and German perspective in the light of the Data Protection Regulation" [original title: "Der rechtliche Rahmen der Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten ohne Einwilligung des Betroffenen - polnische und deutsche Perspektive im Lichte der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung"].
