The 140. revision of WiRO (part pertaining to Poland) features the second part of a comprehensive update of the Polish Labour Code. The update includes amendments in respect of working time, holiday leave, rights of parents, provisions in respect of young employees in the workplace, collective agreements, labour disputes and statute of limitations.

Moreover, the update pertaining to Poland includes a new revision of Chapter D.VII concerning copyright and related protection rights as well as industrial property matters. The discussed issues are, among others: piece of work and authorship, personal copyright and, in particular, commercial use of such rights. What has also been discussed are claims connected to the infringement of copyright. In the area of industrial property law, there are discussed regulations pertaining to patents, excluding employee patents, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks and geographical indication of origin. However, the focus is on the right to exploit copyright and claims arising out of infringement thereof.
