The energy sector must be ready not only for dynamically changing regulations, but also for new challenges regarding the current geopolitical situation in Europe and in the world. The sector’s future will be discussed by participants of the next MMC Poland training event called: “Settlements on the electricity, gas and heat market and the obligations of energy companies”.
One of the experts at this event will be Grzegorz Wąsiewski, PhD, who will present a lecture devoted to the supervisory powers of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. During his speech, Grzegorz Wąsiewski will refer to the possibility of the ERO President withdrawing a licence in the event that the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) issues a decision against the energy company declaring that such practices violate collective interests of consumers. Grzegorz Wąsiewski will also discuss measures aimed at counteracting unfair practices of sellers towards consumers.
The event will take place on the 6th and 7th of June 2022. You can read the detailed programme HERE.
