The latest issue of the German business magazine ”Crossing Borders” features an article by Joanna Krawczyk, LL.M., PhD, devoted to perspectives of investing in Poland in 2026. The publication was written within the scope of cooperation between the magazine's publisher – CBBL, the world's only network of German-speaking law firms, and Produktfamilie Deutscher AnwaltSpiegel and F.A.Z. BUSINESS MEDIA GmbH.
The article opens with the context of the growing importance of Poland for the German economy. Our country remains the fifth most important trading partner for Germany, and trade dynamics remain high and stable. In the first half of 2025, exports from Germany to Poland increased by 5.7%, while exports from Poland to Germany increased by 5.2%, confirming that the Polish market is becoming an increasingly important destination for German investors.
Joanna Krawczyk presents in her article a practical view of conducting business activity in Poland, analysing, i.a.:
- the most important factors influencing investment decisions,
- the current trends in the area of remuneration and employment,
- key directions of infrastructure development,
- the significance of energy prices and the structure of the Polish energy mix.
