Marcin Kroll, who until now has been co-operating with act BSWW law firm, is an expert in intellectual property and new technologies law.
He is a professional representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante in respect of trademarks and designs.
He provides comprehensive services in terms of protecting and combating infringements in matters related to trademarks, industrial designs, patents, copyrights and unfair competition acts. Marcin prepares and implements IP protection strategies for his clients, also with international reach. He represents clients before the Polish Patent Office, EUIPO and the International Bureau of WIPO.
His interests also focus on issues related to new technologies law as well as personal data and privacy protection. He draws up and negotiates IT contracts, including implementation, maintenance and development license contracts. He participated in numerous IT projects, including those implemented in agile methodologies, both on the part of contractors and contracting parties.
He advises on the GDPR, personal data and privacy protection, advertising law, e-commerce and commercial law.
Moreover, his experience covers competition law, in terms of both anti-trust procedures and control of concentration procedures before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and the European Commission.
Thanks to the extensive know-how of our new partner, the transfer significantly strengthens the competences of BSJP law firm, including in particular the BSJP IP & Patent department, which offers comprehensive legal assistance to Polish and foreign entities in the area of industrial and intellectual property protection and new technologies law.
