On 13 October 2022, the local government of the Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodeship and the city of Elbląg organised a conference under the name ''Open to Scandinavia''. The conference was held under the honorary patronage of the Embassy of Finland, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Embassy of Sweden. Its main objective was to revive economic links between the region and Scandinavian markets and also to present Warmia and Mazury as a natural business partner for Scandinavian countries, presenting the investment potential and export opportunities of the voivodeship.
Panel discussions and workshops were held during the conference. Mr. Dag Nilsson, Head of BSJP Nordic at BSJP law firm, attended a panel called "How do Scandinavian entrepreneurs assess conducting business in Poland and in Warmia and Mazury".
