We are pleased to announce that Maciej Kuropatwiński is the co-author of the latest report of the Association “With Energy About Law”. The publication is devoted to one of the most important challenges of the Polish energy transition – the development of energy storage and its role in stabilising the power system.
The report shows that as much as 33 per cent of energy in the Polish energy mix currently comes from renewable energy sources. The dynamic growth in the contribution of RES, although desirable from the point of view of transformation and climate security, also raises major systemic challenges. One of them is the necessity to ensure sufficient grid flexibility and effective reduction of non-market redistribution, i.e. reduction of energy generation from RES.
The publication includes the current market data, analysis of the applicable and planned regulations, and comments from experts who have been dealing with energy law and the renewable energy market for years.
