Revenue bonds - an underestimated form of infrastructure investment financing?

Revenue bonds constitute a special type of debt securities, the essence of which is to ensure that the holders will have the priority right to satisfy claims from the assets indicated by the issuer (in particular assets that were financed with funds obtained from bonds) and from a specified stream of fixed income received by the issuer.

The most significant benefit potentially connected with revenue bonds is an opportunity for local self-government units to finance the long-delayed ventures necessary to improve the living standards of the local community, including in particular the modernization of public transport and improvement of the ecological efficiency of local means of transport.

Attorney Katarzyna Domańska-Mołdawa discusses in Rynek Infrastruktury the issue of revenue bonds.
