Private enforcement: How to pursue claims on account of breach of competition law and how to defend oneself against the possible claims - legal and economic reasons,

 to take place on 14 June 2017 in Warsaw.

 The aim of the workshop is to present to the managerial staff of enterprises from various industrial sectors the problems associated with claims on account of breach of competition law, in particular in view of the forthcoming entry into force of the Act of 21 April 2017 on claims for redressing damage caused by breach of competition law. 

 Highlights of the workshop:

  • the new regulations regarding the pursuit of claims for redressing damage caused by breach of competition law - Act of 21 April 2017,
  • the use of economic analysis to substantiate claims on account of breach of competition law and to defend oneself against such claims,
  • case study - attack and defence simulation - legal and economic analysis.

 The analysis of the topic from an economic and legal point of view aims at making it easier for managerial staff to identify to potential claims they may file against others participants to the market and the possible risk of such claims being filed against them, and in each case to determine the appropriate strategy.
