Another, already seventh, meeting of the “Law and Technology” research group was held on 18 August 2023 at the Botanic Garden of the Jagiellonian University. As a lot of changes related to AI regulations can be expected in the fall, we have summarized the last months of AI’s development from a legal perspective.
The “AI in the middle of summer ...” seminar was opened by Marek Kapturkiewicz of Innovation Nest together with Róża Szafranek of HR Hints. We discussed global reports such as the Technology Trends Outlook 2003 report and the latest annual McKinsey Global Survey on the current state of artificial intelligence. We discussed the readiness of organizations in European and global markets for digital transformation and also summarized the AI World Show conference in Dubai, where next-generation artificial intelligence solutions were discussed by world leaders working on AI. Finally, we discussed exploring its impact on human resources practices.
