We are proud to announce that BSJP's Andrzej Preiss has been awarded by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark the title of Knight of 1st class of the Order of Dannebrog, also known as the Order of the Danish Flag. This extraordinary distinction, recognized as one of the oldest orders in the world, has been awarded to Mr Preiss in recognition of his service and contribution in representing the interests of Denmark as Honorary Consul. This is yet another distinction for Mr Preiss, who was awarded the Order and title of Knight of the Order of Dannebrog already in 2011.
The Order of Dannebrog, awarded by the rulers of Denmark since 1671 as the second highest order of the Kingdom of Denmark, honours Danish and foreign citizens for their meritorious civil or military service.
