BSJP | bnt advised Ericsson Sp. z o.o. on the acquisition of two public contracts from PGE for the mission critical LTE450 power network

Ericsson Sp. z o.o. has been awarded two key public procurement contracts by PGE for the construction of the LTE450 communications network (4G network) for the energy sector in Poland. The contracts referred to the implementation of production and test environment – the CORE network and RAN radio network components within the scope of the construction of the LTE450 mobile broadband communications network for the modernisation of the mission critical energy infrastructure in Poland.

BSJP | bnt ensured comprehensive service at all stages of both public procurement procedures and also represented the Client in four appeal proceedings before the National Appeals Chamber in this case, which finally resulted in the award of the public contract in favour of Ericsson. Our Law Firm supervised the full process associated with preparation of the required tender documentation, provision of explanations, submission of applications for participation in the procedure and price offers, as well as direct preparation for the signing of contracts between the companies. The project was managed by a team headed by Jarosław Sroka, comprising Grzegorz Wąsiewski, PhD; Adam Jeżewski and Michał Rusin.

“We are delighted that we were able to provide legal support to Ericsson in a project of such complex nature and strategic importance.” says Jarosław Sroka, Partner at BSJP | bnt.
