The BSJP | bnt team acted as an exclusive legal advisor to Spain’s Iberfruta Muerza, S.A., which earlier this year took over Stovit Group Sp. z o.o., a leading Polish manufacturer of jams, preserves, marmalades and plum spreads. Stovit has been operating on the Polish food market since 1979, and since 2007 had been part of Grupo Ángel Camacho, S.L., acting as the seller.
Present in more than 80 countries, Iberfruta is one of Europe’s leading producers of semi-finished fruit and vegetable products for the food industry.
For Stovit, this marks a new stage in the company’s international development strategy. Dr. Andrzej Miranowicz, CEO of Stovit Group Sp. z o.o., said that thanks to this transaction, the company will, among others, significantly increase its export capabilities on a global scale.
The transaction has been carried out under two jurisdictions, Polish and Spanish. The BSJP | bnt team headed by Ewa Boryczko, PhD and including Agnieszka Pokora ensured the legal security of the deal on the Polish side.
