We are delighted to share another success of our litigation department! We have secured a win for our client, resulting in a compensation award exceeding 600 000 euro, along with accrued interest. This time, we had the privilege of representing a rail carrier from Austria.
The litigation proceedings held before the Commercial Division of the Regional Court in Warsaw were both interesting and complex. The case encompassed a range of technical complexities, private international law considerations, and necessitated the application of an international convention and its corresponding model contracts. We are currently awaiting the finalization of the judgment.
Success in this case was achieved thanks to the effective actions of Katarzyna Reszczyk-Król, PhD, with the collaborative support of Krzysztof Kowalczyk and Jan Maciejewski.
