We are delighted to announce that BSJP law firm is supporting the upcoming XXVII Congress of the Polish Society of Oncological Surgery along with the accompanying XXXVIII Scientific and Training Conference. We are the exclusive organizer of the legal session, where our specialists, attorneys-at-law Maciej Prusak and Hanna Rubaszewska, will run expert panels during which they will look at regulations significant from the medical sector's perspective.
As part of the event, on 4 September, BSJP lawyers will conduct legal panels and give lectures on:
- attorney-at-law Maciej Prusak (Partner) — "Infringement of doctor's personal rights on the Internet. Doctors' right to protect their image — as seen by a lawyer";
- attorney-at-law Hanna Rubaszewska (Partner) — "Patient's consent for surgery — practice and the most common violations".
Additionally, in a session led by the representatives of surgical nurses (2 September), Mrs. Rubaszewska will discuss nurses' legal liability in the context of patients' claims.
This year's congress is special, because it will be attended not only by the doctors associated with oncological surgery, but also by the representatives of other oncological societies, including the Polish Society of Clinical Oncology, the Polish Surgeons Society, the Polish Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, just to name a few.
Whereas the legal session prepared by BSJP has the patronage of the Poznań Bar Association, and the entire XXVII Congress of the Polish Society of Oncological Surgery is held under the patronage of the Mayor of Poznań, Mr Jacek Jaśkowiak.
